After extensively testing multiple cooling technologies, Elkhorn’s system stood out for its energy efficiency, scalability, and its alignment with our industrial symbiosis mission. Unlike traditional Freon-based chillers, the Elkhorn 970 uses a water-based system that eliminates synthetic refrigerants entirely, simplifies permitting, and slashes energy consumption by up to 50%.
This means we can build faster, reduce operational costs, and—most importantly—minimize environmental impact.
